Language Generation
GENESIS is a language generation system developed by the SLS
group. GENESIS is designed to transform a semantic frame
representing the meaning of a user request, system query, or system
reply, into an appropriate target string. For natural language
generation, the target string would contain words or sentences.
GENESIS is flexible enough to handle a wide variety of different
natural languages including English, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese.
GENESIS can also be used to generate strings in formal languages (such
as SQL or HTML) for the purpose of communicating with other system
components (such as database servers) or producing electronic
documents (such as web pages).
